Fall...beautiful but sometimes cold...and cold it was, but there was plenty of warmth in both their hearts to warm each other up. Here are some teasers from their wedding day on beautiful Manitoulin Island.
It didn't take me long to see how much this beautiful little girl is loved by her two amazing parents. I have photographed Anick and Kris's maternity session, as well as Journey's newborn session. With each session, I have seen and felt the love these two awesome people share. When Anick requested an in-home session, I was thrilled to say yes! I absolutely love lifestyle sessions for a couple of reasons. The authenticity of the portraits is the number one reason why I love it so much. I'm able to capture who they really are, and what's important to them. While a lifestyle session still requires some planning and moving stuff around, it allows clients to feel at ease, comfortable and most of all, feel like themselves in their own environment. It also tells a mini story of what their day to day life is like, or in this case their morning-after Journey's nap. This little girl will one day grow up and cherish these photos. She will be able to see what her nursery looked like, how much both her parents put into creating a beautiful space for their child, and see her favorite little stuff animals & most of all see the special bond her parents both shared. Here's a sneak peak of some of my favorite shots from their in home lifestyle session.
